The TP4056 Type-C 1A 5V Li-ion Battery Charger Module with Protection is a compact charging and protection board designed for charging a single 3.7V nominal Li-ion or LiPo rechargeable battery.
The module uses the TP4056 constant-current/constant-voltage charging controller and accepts a 5V input through the USB Type-C connector. It charges a single Li-ion cell to approximately 4.2V using a CC/CV charging method.
This version includes a battery protection circuit, providing protection against overcharging, over-discharging, excessive current and short circuits. It can be used with 18650 cells and other compatible single-cell rechargeable lithium batteries.
The onboard LEDs provide a convenient indication of the charging status. The module is widely used in DIY electronics, portable power projects, Arduino projects, IoT devices, battery-powered gadgets and rechargeable electronic products.
