ISD1820 Voice Recording & Playback

• The ISD1820 voice recording/playback module allows you to easily record short voice messages and play them back using simple push buttons or control pins.
• It supports single-message recording with a duration of 8 to 20 seconds (depending on sample rate and on-board resistor configuration).
• The module integrates the ISD1820 IC, which contains all the required analog recording and playback circuitry, eliminating the need for external memory or signal processing hardware.
• Compatible with Arduino, Raspberry Pi, and other microcontrollers using simple control pins such as:
  • REC – Start recording
  • PLAYE – Edge-triggered playback
  • PLAYL – Level-triggered playback
• Includes an on-board audio amplifier capable of directly driving an 8Ω speaker. Also provides AUX outputs for connecting to external audio amplifiers.
• Low voltage operation makes it suitable for battery-powered projects.
• The module is ideal for beginners due to its plug-and-play design, requiring only a speaker and optional microcontroller.
