The 125 kHz Thin RFID Card is a widely used low-frequency proximity card designed for access control, attendance systems, identification, and asset tagging. Its slim profile (credit-card size) makes it ideal for keeping in wallets, ID card holders, or lanyards.
This card contains a TK4100 chip, pre-programmed with a unique ID number readable by any 125 kHz RFID reader. Being a passive card, it requires no battery, and operates by inductive coupling when placed near a compatible reader.
The 125 kHz LF band is known for its stable performance near metal and water, making these cards popular in industrial and commercial environments. However, LF cards have a short read range and offer basic security features suitable for standard ID use.
