Description
The MC-38 is a widely used normally-open magnetic contact sensor designed for detecting the opening and closing of doors, windows, drawers, cabinets, and safety enclosures.
It works through a reed switch + permanent magnet.
- When the door/window is closed, the magnet is close → reed contacts touch → Closed circuit.
- When opened, magnet separates → contacts break → Open circuit → Trigger alarm or signal.
